Research Interests

  • Theory of Peano Compactum and Lambda Function
  • For continua or even compact sets in the plane we want to introduce a new topological invariant, which may quantify how far such a set is from being locally connected. We are mostly interested in the boundary of a bounded simply connected domain. Particular examples include Julia sets of quadratic polynomials and the Mandelbrot set. Applications to rational Jualia sets and plane topology can be expected in the near future.
