摘要：Neural networks and deep learning currently achieved unprecedented success and state-of-the-art results in various machine learning and artificial intelligence tasks, most notably image recognition, speech recognition, text analysis and natural language processing. In this talk we present a brief introduction and overview of neural network approximation and deep learning. The brief history of neural networks and deep learning is dicussed. Some old and new works for the neural network approximation and deep learning are reported.
